The Bayelsa state government has informed residents within the Newly Completed Road 24, Opposite Prosco, that the road has been billed for commissioning as part of the events commemorating the Prosperity Government’s 5th anniversary.

ESV Moses Teibowei, Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure in a statement directed residents who have dropped sand, chippings, blocks, and other items on the road to remove them immediately to facilitate the commencement of unhindered road marking leading to the commissioning.

The commissioner warned that failure by those who dumped the items on Road 24, Opposite Prosco to promptly remove them will compel relevant government authorities to forcefully evacuate them from the road.

He added that the Government expects full cooperation and compliance to this directive.
