ACADEMIC STAFF UNION OF UNIVERSITIES (ASUU) NIGER DELTA UNIVERSITY CHAPTER SUSPENDS ONGOING STRIKE

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) Niger Delta University (NDU) chapter have suspended its ongoing strike after fruitful negotiations with the Bayelsa State Government.

Suspension of the strike action is expected of take effect from 12am midnight tomorrow while academic activities are to follow with immediate effect in other to cover for lost grounds.

This Union came out with the resolution after a congress held in the early hours of today as the announcement is expected to be followed shortly by an official memo.
