GHASTLY ACCIDENT CLAIMS ONE LIFE, INJURES THREE IN YENAGOA

A fatal accident involving a commercial tricycle popularly known as keke has claimed one life and left three others injured close to Saptex road by express in Yenizue-Epie, Yenagoa on Thursday morning.

The injured victims were promptly rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

Mr. Anderson Akori, an eyewitness told our correspondent that the incident occurred when a speeding car rammed into the keke from behind, causing the tricycle to crash into a parked Dyna truck loaded with three bags of cement.

He said the driver of the speeding car attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by bystanders.

The badly damaged keke has since been removed from the scene by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, in company with other security agencies.

The identities of those involved in the accident have not been established.
