The Bayelsa State Police Command has arrested and paraded 26 suspected criminals linked to offences including illegal possession of firearms, cultism, advance fee fraud, and armed robbery.

Mr. Iyamah Edebor, the Commissioner of Police, disclosed this while addressing newsmen at the command headquarters, saying the arrests were part of efforts in line with the Inspector General of Police’s directive on zero tolerance for crime.

The Police Commissioner assured residents of the command’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of lives and property across Bayelsa State.

Meanwhile, the principal suspect reportedly admitted to conspiring with others to dispose of the vehicle illegally during interrogation.
