3 PERSONS SERIOUSLY INJURED AS TRICYCLE COLLIDE WITH SAND TRAILER IN YENAGOA

An accident involving a Sand Trailer and a Tricycle, popularly known as Keke, at the Green Villa Junction, Biogbolo in the Sani Abacha Express Road has left three persons seriously injured.

Speaking to Isaac Eyedoude, Golden 97.5 FM’s correspondent who was at the scene of the accident, an eyewitness who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the accident resulted in the three occupants on board the tricycle sustaining serious head and bodily injuries.

According to the eyewitness the incident happened so fast but for the timely intervention of two police officers and some passersby at the scene who helped in taking the injured Keke driver and occupants to an undisclosed hospital in Yenagoa.

The Sand Trailer Driver who equally spoke to our correspondent on the condition of anonymity, explained that he was about turning at the Green Villa junction U-turn when the Keke who he believes was on high speed ran under his trailer.
