The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced a shift in the online recruitment exercise for paramilitary job seekers, moving the start date to July 21, 2025.
This was disclosed in a statement on Thursday by the Board’s Secretary, retired Major-General Abdulmalik Jubril, who explained that the delay was necessary to improve the performance of the recruitment portal — https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
He said the upgrade will help accommodate the high volume of applications and ensure the recruitment process remains smooth, transparent, and fair.
“We appreciate the enthusiasm and interest of young Nigerians to serve the country through these important agencies,” Jubril said.
The online application was earlier scheduled to begin on July 2, then postponed to July 14, before the latest adjustment to July 21.
The affected agencies include the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, and the Federal Fire Service.
