Hon. Alfred Kemepado, the Commissioner for Youth Development in Bayelsa State, has issued a stern warning to cultists, stating that the law will eventually catch up with them.

He made this statement on Tuesday while appearing as a guest on Let’s Talk Nigeria, Golden 97.5 FM morning programme.

Hon. Kemepado advised young people interested in joining any group to affiliate with organizations or associations that add value to their lives, rather than engaging in cultism.

Highlighting the achievements of his ministry, the commissioner announced that another youth training programme is set to commence soon. He cautioned that only serious participants should attend, urging unserious individuals to stay away.

Commenting on support for youth training initiatives, Hon. Kemepado emphasized that only programmes that can lead to employment opportunities for young people will receive backing from the ministry.

The show took a dramatic moment on air when a female caller who identified herself as Ebi requested assistance to purchase a sewing machine costing ninety-two thousand naira. In response, the commissioner transferred the sum of one hundred thousand naira to her account.
