AYAMABELE COMMUNITY CONGRATULATES HON. ISMAEL ON EMERGENCE AS BAYELSA APC FINANCIAL SECRETARY

The People of Ayamabele community in Okordia Clan, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, has congratulated Hon. Okpo Ismael on his election as the State Financial Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in Bayelsa State. Hon. Ismael emerged during the party’s state congress held on Tuesday last week.

In a congratulatory message jointly signed by Chief Akori Ariefa Walter, the Paramount Ruler of Ayamabele Community and Mr. Prince Okunobo, the Youth President, the community described his election as a proud moment for Ayamabele people and a political boost for the entire Okordia Clan.

They noted that it was the first time a son of the community had attained such a position in any political party at the state level. According to the statement, Hon. Ismael is a worthy ambassador of the community and a role model for the younger generation, describing him as a politician with integrity, accountability and prudence.

The community expressed confidence in his ability to perform effectively in his new role and assured him of their support. They also prayed for God’s protection, guidance and wisdom for him to succeed in office and attain greater heights in his political career.

The statement further appreciated Hon. Gentle Emelah, the Bayelsa State Commissioner for Education, delegates and other stakeholders, particularly from Okordia and Zarama clans, for their support towards Hon. Ismael’s emergence.

In the same vein, the community also congratulated Dr. Peter Akpe on his emergence as the new Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State. They described Dr. Akpe as a seasoned public servant capable of supporting the prosperity agenda of Governor Douye Diri and wished him success in his new office.
